Mamelodi Sundowns v Bloem Celtic

Mamelodi Sundowns will look to get back to winning ways when they take on in-form Bloemfontein Celtic in Saturday's MTN8 quarter-final at Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.

Sundowns opened the Premiership season with a 2-0 victory over SuperSport United but then lost a CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg tie against Congo's Otoho d'Oyo.

In addition, the Brazilians then dropped points in a 1-1 draw with Chippa United last Wednesday.

Nonetheless, coach Pitso Mosimane is optimistic his side can hit their stride soon in terms of playing effective and entertaining football.

He told reporters: "I like it when someone is sitting on the couch and watching the game and says, 'Wow, this is proper football'.

"Sometimes you can win without playing proper football, but you can never, ever win consistently when you play that way.

"I have more chances to win because we play the proper way."

Meanwhile, Celtic come into the game having thrashed Golden Arrows 5-0 and must be buzzing with confidence.

As such, coach Lehlohonolo Seema has warned his side to stay grounded, saying: "We need to guard against complacency after winning with such a huge margin. The players should remain grounded.

"We have to make sure winning becomes a habit and collect maximum points in our upcoming games."

Saturday's action gets underway from 20:15 in Pretoria.
