Highlands Park v Polokwane City

Polokwane City will be looking to take home ground advantage to a whole new level when they host Highlands Park in the first-leg of the MTN8 semi-final Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday.

Rise and Shine have had a good start to the new season having won two and drawn one in their first four league games while knocking defending champions Cape Town City out of the MTN8 in the previous round.

The Limpopo-based side come into the encounter on the back of a goalless draw against Chippa United in midweek but their coach knows Zlatko Krmpotic they will have to be better on Saturday.

He said: "Highlands Park are in good form, they play good football. We must be prepared for this game," Krmpotic said.

"This is the first time we are in this stage of the competition in the semifinal, but we will give our best on Saturday."

Highlands Park, meanwhile, sailed in the last four by conquering Orlando Pirates away from home in the quarterfinals.

The Lions of the North will also go into the clash full of confidence having recorded their first win in the league in midweek, beating Amazulu 2-1.

Forward Peter Shalulile has been in inspiring form in the season so far having netted three goals in four Absa Premiership matches.

The game kicks off at 15:00 on Saturday.
