Chippa Utd 0-0 Maritzburg United
It was honours even at the Sisa Dukashe Stadium on Saturday night as Chippa United and Maritzburg United played to a goalless draw.
The first half was a closely contested affair, with goalscoring chances at a premium for both teams.
The first chance of note arrived in the ninth minute as Mxolisi Kunene whipped a dangerous cross into the box, but the defence was alert to the danger and cleared the ball before Gabriel Nyoni could get a touch.
Maritzburg again threatened the break the deadlock on the 20-minute mark, but midfielder Daylon Claasen saw his goal-bound shot deflected behind for a corner.
And, there were two more great chances for the visitors in the first half, with Moseamedi's header drawing a save from Veli Mothwa in the Chippa goal, before Claasen clipped the upright with a curling effort.
The scoreline would remain unchanged, however, as the first half drew to a close, with neither side able to find the all-important breakthrough.
It was more of the same after the break, with the two teams seemingly nullifying each other.
However, it was have been a different story if Nyoni had converted on the hour mark, with his headed attempt coming back off the bar after Kunene had sent in a cross towards the near post.
But that was the only chance of note in the second period as Maritzburg failed to make their dominance count in the final 30 minutes, with Chippa holding firm to claim a share of the spoils.
