Chippa United v Free State Stars
Free State Stars will look to build on recent results when they travel to the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to take on Chippa United on Wednesday.
After a sluggish start to the season, Ea Lla Koto overcame Highlands Park 1-0 before holding Baroka FC to a goalless draw last time out.
Chippa, under new boss Erik Tinker are, meanwhile, starting to find their feet after their struggles and beat Baroka 1-0 in their clash, ahead of a goalless stalemate with Golden Arrows.
The last time these two sides faced each other, the Chilli Boys emerged as 1-0 victors, with Abel Mabaso the only goalscorer, while Stars claimed a 2-1 victory against Chippa in the Nedbank Cup last season, en route to winning the tournament.
Reflecting on his side's season thus far, Chippa goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi said on Twitter: "The start of the season hasn't been easy for any of the teams in the league.
At Chippa we've had to adjust to different styles of coaching, but the team is starting to gel."
He added: "I'm grateful to our fans who support us even when the chips are down. They attend our matches, come rain or shine, and for that we are eternally grateful.
"I'd like to see the team in the top six by the December break. We have talented players with a lot of potential to reach that target."
Tickets for the clash are available at Ticket Pro outlets and the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium ticket office at R40 per adult, R20 for children 12 years and under.
