Baroka v SuperSport United

Baroka will look to home ground advantage to end their poor run of results in the Premiership when they welcome SuperSport United to the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Bakgaga wade into the clash with Matsatsantsa on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Black Leopards in the Limpopo derby.

Wedson Nyirenda's men are winless from their last seven games and have not tasted victory since beating Cape Town City 2-1 in their second match of the 2018/19 season early in August.

Matsatsantsa on the other hand are still recovering from last weekend's setback in the MTN8 final, where they lost to Cape Town City on penalties.

They were not at their best in Tuesday's Premiership match against Polokwane City and gave away an early lead to play to a 1-1 draw.

Kaitano Tembo, who was appointed the club's head coach on a permanent basis before the start of the new season, admitted that life must go on despite the disappointment of losing to the Citizens in the final of the MTN8.

SuperSport have managed to grind four victories from their seven games played so far in the Premiership.

"You always improve, you can always get better. We learn in each and every game and that's the whole objective," Tembo said.

In team news, Matsatsantsa are likely to be without the duo of Evans Rusike and Fagrie Lakay after both sustained injuries in the final of the MTN8.

Veteran midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane could make a return after was rested in the 1-1 stalemate with Polokwane having playing 120 minutes of football in the cup final.
