Nyirenda: Baroka will get it right

Under-fire Baroka coach Wedson Nyirenda is adamant the team will get their Premiership campaign back on track after a seven-match winless streak.

Bakgaga have not won a match since beating Cape Town City in their second fixture of the season in early August.

However, Nyirenda believes it was always going to take him time to get the players to understand his philosophy.

"I think we need to do something for the Limpopo people. This is my first year in the Premiership and we have a relatively new team," he told SuperSport.

"We are gelling together and I think in terms of the league, we are targeting getting into the top eight, but for Telkom, it's a must to do well in the competition.

"Every coach has a philosophy of play and concept of how you do it. It takes different players to play different philosophies. So my team like I said, relatively being new and the coach is new and we are trying to do everything possible to gel the team.

"I have seen that the boys are very good, they are gelling very well and they are taking instructions very well. We are playing good football and one thing that is lacking, I think with no time we are going to click."
