Vilakazi blow for Bafana
Sibusiso Vilakazi has been ruled out of South Africa's double-header with Seychelles after sustaining an injury in a practice match against SuperSport United.
Bafana Bafana team doctor Thulani Ngwenya confirmed on Wednesday that the Mamelodi Sundowns attacker has been withdrawn from the squad after rupturing his Achilles tendon.
Vilakazi is the third player to pull out of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. Sundowns team-mate Thapelo Morena and Orlando Pirates winger Vincent Pule withdrew earlier this week due to injuries and have since been replaced by Thamsanqa Mkhize and Thembinkosi Lorch.
Lebo Mothiba scored the only goal as Stuart Baxter's side clinched a 1-0 win over Matsatsantsa.
Bafana sit on four points along with Libya at the top of Group E, while Nigeria are second with three points.
