Orlando Pirates v Baroka

Orlando Pirates could potentially go top of the Premiership on Tuesday night if they beat unpredictable Baroka at Orlando Stadium in Johannesburg.

The Sea Robbers are second in the standings though they do trail leaders Bidvest Wits by three points.

The Clever Boys dropped two points in their PSL clash against Polokwane City this weekend, playing out to a thrilling 3-3 draw.

Bucs come into the contest full of confidence having thrashed Horoya AC in a CAF Champions League Group B tie on Friday evening.

With that said, Bakgaga did get one over on Pirates as they beat them in December in the final of the Telkom Knockout.

However, their form in the league is less convincing and they are outside of the relegation places on goal-difference ahead of 15th placed Chippa United.

Despite some good times recently for Pirates, Milutin Sredojevic is demanding more improvement saying: "We are happy and injected with the confidence we wanted.

"But we're far from being happy with so many things because we still have so much room to improve and develop."

Yet, the away outfit have added some strength to their squad in January with striker Siyabonga Vilane joining from National First Division outfit Uthongathi, whereas Zimbabwe international Rodwell Chinyengetere has also joined the side.

For the hosts, it appears 'Micho' may rotate his squad in order to ensure fresher legs which may see Linda Mntambo recalled to the starting line-up after his starring cameo off the bench against Horoya.

Kickoff is set to take place in Johannesburg from 19:30.
