Ex-Chiefs and Pirates star denied deal in NFD
Nimrod Mbhalati, the agent to former Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates striker, Bongani Ndulula, says the player has been turned away from Mbombela United in the NFD.
The once highly rated 29-year-old was on trial with the ambitious National First Division outfit but has since been told to stop training and he won't be offered a deal.
According to sources at Mbombela, Ndulula is in poor physical condition and is in no state to play professional football.
The former Bafana Bafana star has had a substantial fall from grace after he was released by Chippa United in January 2017.
A source told Soccer Laduma: "Bongani Ndulula is no longer training with Mbombela United.
"He has been told to stop as he won't be signed because, according to the club, he is not in a good physical condition."
At this stage it is uncertain what the future holds for a forward once dubbed 'Drogba' for his prowess in front of goal.
It seems the Aliwal-North-born star may simply fade away into retirement.
