Ea Lla Koto and Bakgaga share the spoils
Free State Stars and Baroka FC shared the spoils 2-2 in a Premiership clash at Goble Park on Wednesday evening.
Stars rung the changes as Yusuf Jappie, Mpho Khabane and Harris Tchilimbou came in, while Baroka's changes were Thato Madigoe, Matome Kgoetyane, Mduduzi Mdantsane and Bonginkosi Makume.
After early pressure, Stars broke the deadlock when Khabane displayed composure 20 minutes in with a finish from close range
Bakgaga were under the cosh, but pushed for a response yet resolute defending from Ea Lla Koto held the visitors back.
After the interval, Bakgaga leveled after Lawrence Ntswane finished off a well-executed move.
Immediately after, coach Wedson Nyirenda threw on more forwards to get a grip of the contest, as Jemondre Dickens filled in for Madigoe.
With that said, Sibusiso Hlubi fired the home side back in front just before the hour mark after Baroka went to sleep at the back.
While Stars thought they were close to a valuable three points, the away outfit equalised again through a 73rd minute finish from the impressive Collins Makgaka.
It remained level until the end of the 90 minutes without any real major alarms for either side in the closing stages.
