Galaxy call on Feutmba for inspiration versus Chiefs

TS Galaxy coach Dan Malesela revealed he has called on some legends of South African football including Roger Feutmba to inspire his players ahead of the Nedbank Cup final against Kaizer Chiefs.

Galaxy could make history if they were to win the trophy as it is around one year since they came into existence after taking over the status of former National First Division side FC Cape Town.

It would the team's first silverware and it would be a tremendous achievement to beat the Glamour Boys.

As such, Malesela has enlisted the help of former teammates and legends including ex-Mamelodi Sundowns superstar Feutmba.

He said: "Ever since we on the semi-finals, we've been trying to get the minds right, sorting out the players mentally.

"We brought in people to come and motivate them, Roger 'The General' Feutmba, Bernard 'Shoes' Lushozi, Eric 'Tambai' Ramasike just to have a chat with the guys through their experiences of winning cups and all that, and it was a very god exercise.

"So, we have been working towards this game, because as soon as we realised, we are not going to make the play-offs then we made the Nedbank priority."

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:00 at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
