AmaZulu extend Gumede's contract in Durban
AmaZulu have extended the deal of reliable defender Tshepo Gumede ahead of the 2019/20 season in South Africa's top flight.
Gumede joined the Durban-based outfit in February as a free agent after his release by Cape Town City.
However, it seems the player impressed coach Cavin Johnson and his technical team who have since extended his deal.
The 28-year-old made just six appearances though it seems he did the business which saw Usuthu exercise the option in his contract.
It means Gumede will remain with the ambitious side until at least the end of 2020/21 season.
The club continue to strengthen their ranks as they have already brought on board Lehlohonolo Majoro from Bidvest Wits on a two-year deal.
In addition, Andre de Jong has arrived to further help bolster the team's attacking options.
