Happy Mashiane returns for Kaizer Chiefs
Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that talented young wing-back Happy Mashiane is back in full training after recovering from a broken toe.
Mashiane made two Premiership appearances as well as a further two in the Nedbank Cup as well.
However, he sustained a foot injury which later proved to be a broken toe and he missed the remainder of 2018/19.
With that said, the player showed glimpses of real talent much to the excitement of Chiefs supporters.
The club's official website said: "Happy Mashiane has recovered from a toe injury and has joined the team in full training during this preseason.
"The medical team confirmed that Mashiane has recovered as he joined the team in full training and is ready to take to the field.
Meanwhile, Nkosingiphile Ngcobo has been earmarked for a return to action in September as he recovers from an achilles tendon injury.
In addition, goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is not yet fit and will miss the Carling Black Label Cup final against Orlando Pirates on 27 July.
