Former Bucs striker to sign for Ea Lla Koto
Free State Stars head coach Themba Sithole says the club are in the process of signing former Orlando Pirates striker Ayanda Nkosi.
Nkosi spent three seasons with the Sea Robbers but failed to establish himself as a regular starter during that time.
The 26-year-old is a free agent after he was released by Bucs at the end of the 2018/19 campaign.
Stars are set to begin life in the GladAfrica Championship (formerly the National First Division) in 2019/20 and appear to be on the brink of signing the forward.
Sithole told Kickoff: "No, no, no, we haven't signed anything.
"He is training with us but he hasn't signed. Ja we have to make sure we assess and make sure when we make a decision it's the right one, because I don't know how long he's been out of action so we have to work on his fitness.
"But as we speak now he looks a little bit too heavy. It will depend on how he pushes himself as well. But our job is to try and help him. But we are going to sign him."
