Stellenbosch FC v Black Leopards

It will be the tale of two struggling teams going head to head when Stellenbosch FC host Black Leopards at the Athlone Stadium on Saturday.

The hosts have yet to pick up a victory in their maiden season in South Africa's top-flight having already played five games.

Stellies have only picked up two points and have also only found the back of the net twice with one of those strikes being an own goal in draw 1-1 against Bidvest Wits.

Head coach Steve Barker is confident though that his charges have what it takes to get their first three-pointer of the season on Saturday.

The Stellies mentor said: "I feel good about our chances of beating Leopards.

"We've shown improvement in every game and the boys are ready to step up to the plate and deliver a commanding performance on home soil."

Leopards, meanwhile, head into the fixture without a head coach after Lionel Soccoia was relieved of his duties in midweek.

Lidoda Duvha have only won once in five outings this season with their 2-0 defeat to Baroka in the a Limpopo derby spelling the end for Soccoia.

They have to look to their experienced players such as defender Thabo Matlaba and forward Robert Ng'ambito the mood in the camp.

The game kicks off at 3pm.
