Stellenbosch FC 2 - 2 Black Leopards
A goal by Karabo Tshepe deep into stoppage helped Black Leopards salvage a 2-2 draw in their Absa Premiership encounter away to Stellenbosch FC at the Athlone Stadium on Saturday.
Waseem Isaacs scored both goals for the home team who were on track for their first victory of the season but first Robert Ng'ambi and then Tshepe's late show put a spanner in the works.
The Limpopo side started the brighter of the teams but could not find their way past a stubborn home defence.
Isaacs broke the deadlock three minutes from the halftime break with the forward producing a neat finish as Leopards keeper Jonas Mendes could only look on.
The goal seemed to spur Stellies into action and they continued in their positive frame of mind after the interval.
However, it was Lidoda Duvha who found an equaliser as Ng'ambi rounded off a quick counter-attack just after the hour mark.
With less than 20 minutes remaining, Isaacs restored the home team's lead as the striker headed home from a corner.
Stellenbosch looked to have finally broke their winless streak this season as the time ticked away but Tshepe had other ideas as he levelled the game in the 93rd minute to break the home side's heart's.
The Cape Winelands club now have three draws and three defeats from their opening six games while Leopards have collected five points after a victory and two draws from their first six encounters.
