Baroka v Hungry Lions
Baroka FC will aim to get back to winning ways when they host third division outfit Hungry Lions in the Nedbank Cup round of 16 on Sunday.
Bakgaga come into the cup clash on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Bidvest Wits in the Premiership last weekend, when Deon Kavendji's solitary strike was enough to sink the hosts.
Despite the defeat, Baroka are considered strong favourites to beat Hungry Lions, who compete in the ABC Motsepe League, and progress to the quarter-final stage of the competition.
The Limpopo outfit booked their place in the last 16 by beating local rivals Polokwane City 1-0 thanks to Prince Nxumalo's decisive strike in the 74th minute at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Meanwhile, Hungry Lions have already far exceeded expectations by making it all the way to the last 16.
They were expected to be bundled out of the cup by National First Division side Jomo Cosmos in the previous round, but Reanetse Ramatlhapeng's strike in the 52nd minute of their last-32 clash was enough to secure their safe passage into the next phase of the competition.
Hungry Lions are based in a small mining town in the Northern Cape, Postmasburg, which has a population of only 30,000.
The two sides will lock horns at Peter Mokaba Stadium at 15h00 on Sunday.
