Mamelodi Sundowns v Vaal University of Technology
Mamelodi Sundowns will be odds-on to rack up a big score when they take on fourth-tier Vaal University of Technology (VUT) in a Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday.
Masandawana already hold the record for the highest score in a Cup game in South Africa football when they thrashed Powerlines FC 24-0 in the same competition in 2012.
VUT made some history of there own in the last round when they became the first ever regional side to knock out a Premiership opponent after they defeated Golden Arrows on penalties.
Pitso Mosimane will make sure his Sundowns team will not be complacent though and can expect a strong side to be put on the field for the encounter.
Hlompho Kekana, Gaston Sirino, Mosa Lebusa, Sibusiso Vilakazi all got themselves booked in the league against Bloemfontein Celtic which means they will miss the Cup match after accumulating four yellow cards for the season.
Mosimane's team will be wary of picking up injuries as their next match will be against Al Ahly in a Caf Champions League quarterfinal first-leg tie.
The Nedbank Cup clash on Sunday will kick off at 3pm.
