Free State Stars v Chippa United
Free State Stars can take a huge leap towards avoiding relegation if they can secure all three points against unpredictable Chippa United on Saturday evening.
Ea Lla Koto are in all kinds of trouble and are second from last in the standings following a run of four losses in their last five games.
A 2-1 win over bottom team Maritzburg United in January was a much-needed victory, yet, another triumph over the Chilli Boys would be a big positive.
Counting to their advantage is that Chippa have struggled away from home in 2018/19, managing just five points from a possible 30 in their previous 10 matches.
Stars have also conceded 13 goals in their previous five encounters though coach Nikola Kavazovic believes his side can escape from the dreaded drop.
After a 5-0 loss to Cape Town City in January, Kavazovic said: "I am not worried about it or ashamed of the result. I can assure you my players did not lose one percentage of self-confidence.
"I can promise we will come back much stronger and maybe this defeat will be good for them to keep them grounded."
In team news, Paulus Masehe returns from suspension while Sibusiso Hlubi is out due to a ban. United have no notable concerns but are assessing Nigerian striker Oke Akpoveta on trial.
Kickoff is from 18:00 at Goble Park Stadium in Bethlehem in the Free State.
